I am involved in field and laboratory research in nutritional analysis and scientific validation of indigenous medicinal knowledge (IK), ethnopharmacology (antimicrobial, biosafety, tocolytic, oxytocic studies), bioactivity screening and phytochemical evaluation, gender studies, reproductive health care, domestication of herbals (ex situ conservation), socio-cultural and economic dimensions. This is evidenced by the publications and research grants won.
