2nd November 2023, the Minister of Education and Sports, Maama Janet Kataha Museveni, represented by the Honourable Dr. John Chrysestom Muyingo, the State Minister of Higher Education, released the Uganda Business & Technical Examinations Board (UBTEB) examination results to the public.
The results showed that over 90% of the TVET graduates join meaningful employment and provide the world of work with the direly needed skills it requires. This is a clear indication that technical education is the sure way for Uganda to deliver her NDPIII, Vision 2040, and Government Manifesto.

The Government of Uganda has made significant investments in technical education in recent years. These investments have led to an increase in the number of TVET institutions and the quality of TVET training. As a result, more and more Ugandans are now able to access quality technical education and training.
The success of the TVET sector in Uganda is a testament to the commitment of the Government and the Ministry of Education and Sports to providing competence-based education for national development.
